On the descent into Miami, the pilot announced that things could get a little bumpy as there were storms in the area. Within a minute it felt like the plane entered a 3 second asteroid field. It was violent but thankfully brief…sweaty palms again for me, while Sam sat back and enjoyed the ride!(Travel Blog)

Raging Waters ranks 6th in U.S. water park attendance

Since I last wrote, I´ve been on and off travelling with the same group of people. It´s been mountains, canyons (not kenyans), jungles (eerily like an episode of the Mighty Boosh), monkeys, snakes, iguanas, jet boats, beaches (Pacific and Carribbean), buses, 80s parties, ruins.... Mom and Dad brought back five cart-loads of food from Costco. There are boxes of olives, canned corn, baked beans, apples, nuts, cheese, steaks, and even a case of Alaskan Amber…which may be my clincher for staying another few days to fish. Day 12 - Santa Barbara Hostelity

First off sorry there aren't many pictures. (only 1) I left the camera at the hotel. So.. Today we left Carmel and embarked on the 5 hour drive to Santa Barbara. The last storm, Edouard, luckily caused no damage to Nancy and Gabriel's house or mine.
